I remember watching Amy Cuddy’s Ted Talk a couple of years ago about the power of “Power Posing” in difficult times and how it might change a person from depressed to confident. Currently ranked second among the most watched TED Talks ever, Cuddy tells her personal experience story from the car crash, the struggling in college and even doubting herself and how she achieved confidence by pretending to be confident. “Presence: Bringing Your Boldest Self to Your Biggest Challenges” was published on the 22nd of December 2015. Based on her TED Talk, the book “expands on exploring the connection between changing our bodies and change our minds – or the minds of others”.
This will be the first book Alexa is going to fully read for me. Time to put that technology to test and discover my boldest self.
